2008/09 Summer Internship Program - Investment Banking, Sydney

As a summer intern, you will be assigned to the Investment Banking Divison (IBD) in Sydney for the full ten weeks of the program. Our summer interns get exposure to a range of industry and product coverage groups based on their individual preferences as well as the needs of the business. The summer internship program commences in December with a 3-4 day training program. This begins with orientation and induction sessions during the first day that provide an overview of Citi and specifically Citi's Investment Banking Division. You will then complete a series of classroom training, which will be carried out by skilled instructors drawn from within the business. This comprehensive program is designed to cover the following fundamental aspects of the Summer Analyst role:
Throughout the program, we will continue to provide you with training and networking opportunities to make sure you gain an in depth knowledge of the whole of Citi. A mentor and a buddy will be also allocated to you to give you advice and support network. You will also have an opportunity to participate in various intern-wide events, including business presentations and social events. During your time here we will be evaluating you for a full-time position on the Analyst Program the following year. We do this through a mid term evaluation and a final term review. Remember that this is a two way process - it is an opportunity for you to evaluate whether this is where you want to take your career as well.You will have the opportunity to work in both product and industry groups with IBD throughout your internship. The Program will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, work on challenging projects and learn more about Citi and our culture.
