The Program

As an Analyst, there is no typical workday. You might be asked to develop a financial model, research industry and company data, prepare a pitch book for a client meeting, or attend an all-day meeting with the CEO and CFO of a company. The pace and workload will vary, with some days being more hectic than others. To encourage initiative and new ideas, we've established a culture that ensures open, informal and constructive communication among all team members, transcending product lines and professional levels. You will take on real responsibilities from day one, and you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the success of a transaction and the strength of a client relationship.You will be given the opportunity to work with the various industry coverage and product groups before specialising in a field as your career with Investment Banking progresses. The Investment Banking Analyst Program at Citi is three and a half year years long.

Training and Development in Investment Banking

As part of the Analyst Program you will attend, along with graduates drawn from around the world, an extensive five to six week training course commencing mid-July in New York. Experienced professionals throughout Citi and from the academic and accounting communities are brought together to teach specific topics. Classes cover the specific disciplines of accounting and corporate finance concepts, computer and information resources training and financial modelling.

We consider graduates from a range of disciplines, including Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Engineering and Law.
