The Program

The Fixed Income Graduate Rotation Program is a one-year rotation through each of the departments within the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities division. It is designed to give graduates a broad range of experience. Areas include: sales, trading, structured products, risk treasury, debt capital markets and credit research. Upon successful completion of the program, the intention is to offer you a permanent role within Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities that best matches your abilities.

Training and Development in Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities

As part of the Fixed Income Rotation program, you will attend an extensive six-week training course in Asia along with other Capital Markets graduates from the Asia/Pacific region.

We also offer courses through the Australian Financial Markets Association and the Financial Services Institute of Australia, as well as in-house training. This will supplement a very hands-on approach to learning through participation in new product development, client meetings global conference calls and building financial models for pricing and valuation.

Credentials for Graduates

We consider graduates in Accounting, Commerce, Business Commerce/Law, Law, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering. The qualities that we look for are strong academic results, personal integrity, inquisitive minds, sharp analytical skills, keen intuition and a lot of energy. Graduates who have demonstrated community involvement through extra-curricular activities are highly regarded.
