Citi Institutional Clients Group includes investment and corporate banking, capital markets, transaction services, private banking and alternative investments. It is one of the few investment banking groups in Australia with a full range of services and the ability to tap capital and expertise around the world. Citi also has a 49% stake in Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, one of Australia's leading wealth management firms.

The company employs two thousand people, with operations in Sydney and Melbourne and a branch network across the country. It is also home to a number of Asia Pacific regional operations, and is an important part of the global and regional business.

Citibank is the brand name used for Citi’s Consumer banking business. It provides products and services to affluent and aspiring affluent consumers in Australia with global banking needs and also offers a full suite of consumer banking products including savings and transaction accounts, credit and debit cards, mortgages, insurance and wealth management.
